OverviewSupply Clerk reports directly to the Supply Supervisor to perform all aspects of the warehouse operations in the Supply Department. Responsibilities relate to repetitive or standard segments of the warehouse operation or to functions that are broad in scope. The Supply Clerk must be capable of working independent in lieu of specific instructions to accomplish mission and enforce the importance of safety at all times.ResponsibilitiesThis position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.Receives, stores, and issues equipment, material, supplies, merchandise, food, or tools, and compiles stock records in stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices.Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size, or type of material.Fills orders or issues supplies from stock.Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock.Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders. 8. Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments.Operates a forklift truck to move, stack, un-stack, load, and unload material in the work area.Performs other duties as assigned.The preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and essential duties and responsibilities of work performed by employees within this classification. Two doses of Pfizer BioNTech Vaccine b.) Two doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford Vaccine c.) Two doses of Moderna Vaccine (or) d. One dose of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine, and 2.) Two weeks elapsed after the final dose was administered, which is either one or two doses depending on brand of the vaccination.Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.High school diploma or equivalent.Must be able to obtain a CAC.Must be able to obtain a Driver���s License.Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbally.Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination:In order to qualify for this position, you must be fully vaccinated prior to the start of your assignment and show proof of your vaccination status, unless you are legally entitled to an accommodation (religious or medical). Experience:Six months experience in a warehouse operation preferred, preferred Army SSA. Document training/schooling on: SSA/Warehouse/Distribution Systems and operations.Skills:Collaborative work style fostering cooperation and teamwork.Prioritize responsibilities to handle a demanding workloadAbility to work under pressureIntermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook applicationsGood oral and written communication skills required.Experienced in using computer automated systems, MS office applications such as word, excel etc.Must be school trained on Army and or DOD Logistics Systems and processes to include trained on SARSS, provide documented evidence of SARSS training.Provide documented evidence of experience on SARSS, operating/working in an SSA/ warehouses/distribution system for at least six months.Must have knowledge with Army and or DOD Logistics Policies, Procedures and STAMIS(Standard Army Management Information System) to include:Army Supply Regulations to include: AR 710-2, Army Supply Policy below the National Level.Army STAMIS to include: SARSS (Standard Army Retail Supply System), Army RFID policies)Working Conditions:Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.Physical Requirements:Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations.
