Danish Red Cross

Are you looking for a challenge, don’t miss this opportunity to join the Danish Red Cross Supply Chain team? We are currently looking to fill two positions; one is to be our new Global Logistics Coordinator for EUROASIA region and Logistics Development as a thematic area, and one is to be our new Global Supply Chain Officer at HQ. Both positions are based in Copenhagen.

Due to the situation in Ukraine the Danish Red Cross (DRC) is scaling up its efforts to support not only in responses across the world but also to strengthen the Supply Chain Capacity in our long-term programming. To enable DRC to respond faster, be more agile and increase our donor compliance we are looking at adding two more persons to the Supply Chain Team, presently consisting of 4 global positions and currently 6 country delegates supporting Ukraine.

With increased donor and compliance requirements, DRC wants to increase the internal Supply Chain capacity whilst ensuring support to our partners across three regions and 16 countries; most of which are considered as fragile states.

We are offering a unique opportunity to be either the new Global Supply Chain Coordinator for EUOASIA or the new Global Supply Chain Officer at HQ level. To succeed in either position, you will need to be diplomatic, flexible, resilient, patient, and innovative in a challenging context. You must be ready to undertake any task within reason that is given to you. You must be ready to travel with short notice for up to 2 months to support Supply Chain related activities either bilaterally, or multilaterally through the Red Cross family of IFRC or ICRC.
