Ona is an award-winning social enterprise based in Burlington, VT and Nairobi, Kenya that develops technology solutions to address some of the world’s most intractable problems with a focus on global health and development. The world’s leading development organizations rely on the software solutions we develop to be more data-driven and accountable to the people they serve.

Ona is the technical and product steward for OpenSRP, an open source digital health platform developed with the World Health Organization.

After being validated in places like Bangladesh, Chad, Liberia, Malawi, Pakistan, Tanzania and Zambia, OpenSRP is set to expand. As part of that path, we need an experienced strategist to help us identify partners that want to transform health systems in LMICs with digital tools.

Purpose

Ona is looking for a ICT4D Partnerships consultant to develop an ICT4D partnerships plan. This is a remote position and will work directly with the CEO.

Project Deliverables

Produce a growth and partnerships plan for Ona’s global health product portfolio, including:

• Identifying and cataloging strategic opportunities for OpenSRP to make an impact around the world — including with specific iNGOs, online conversations, local organizations, events and government ministries.
• Developing a health product advocacy slide deck focusing on OpenSRP and FHIR, including marketing language.

Key Skills and Experience

• 5+ relevant experience in business development or partnerships development with INGOs or international development.
• Proven success developing and executing partnership strategies.

Delivery timelines

• We want the project completed in a time frame between 2–6 weeks.
