The Supply Chain Manager defines, coordinates and monitors the supply chain activities in the project according to our MSF protocols, rules and procedures to ensure the optimal functioning of the project.

Accountabilities

– Plan, establish and review procurement activities in the project in order to identify and optimize response to mission and population needs.

– Monitor and ensure the execution of the following procurement activities in the project: order management, local purchasing management, physical (warehouse) and administrative (movement management) stock management, merchandise management, supply administration and implementation of supply tools standard

– Communicate and ensure the availability of management data in relation to the different departments involved (expired drugs, risk of penalties, reports, delivery times, etc.)

– Participate in the planning and implementation of HR-related processes (recruitment, training, briefing / debriefing, assessment, identification of potential, development and communication) of the staff under his responsibility in order to ensure both the sizing and the quantity of knowledge necessary to correctly perform all the supply activities relating to your area

– Ensure proper collection and monitoring of supply data through their analysis and periodic reporting of the results

Mandatory requirements

– Secondary education and technical diploma, technical university degree or specialization (master’s or similar) in Supply Chain
– At least two years of work experience in Supply Chain and Supply Chain activities
– Previous experience working with other NGOs in developing countries desirable
– English (B2) and French (B2)
– Availability of 9-12 months

Preferred requirements

– Other desirable languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic level B2
