The Opportunity:

The job holder is responsible for the technical, organizational, and disciplinary management of the employees in the department who report to him.

  • Supervisor, management, and training of employees of the WE/IBT department.
  • Control of smooth processes within the department
  • Process optimization
  • Compliance with all legal requirements in the incoming goods area
  • Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company policies
  • Reporting to logistics management
  • Use of existing software in the company
  • Controlling and monitoring the complaints process in his area (Babtec)
  • Communication with freight forwarders / customers / suppliers
  • Partial planning and control of the inventory monitoring of the external warehouses in connection with the shipping department
  • Strategic contact in case of discrepancies in day-to-day business
  • Project related tasks.
  • Responsible for the annual inventory in goods receipt, material supply, production logistics
  • Communication partner for all other departments
  • Personnel management tasks of the entire department
  • Creating, adapting, agreeing, and introducing SOP’s
  • Carrying out and complying with inventory requirements

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience And Certifications)

  • Master’s degree in logistics, business administration, WVL, or similar with relevant experience/training in logistics
  • Management experience
  • Analysis and problem-solving skills.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)

  • Personal initiative and very good communication skills
  • Experienced handling of MS Office and ERP systems (Wincarat / SAP / …)
  • Pronounced knowledge of logistics
  • Versatility and resilience and flexibility
  • Leadership- team skills
