Summer Intern – Accounts Receivable Millsboro

To provide exposure to Mountaire’s culture as well as specified areas of our operation in which the intern is designated to during their internship. This program is intended to provide learning opportunities by working hands-on with mentors and completing assigned projects.

Duties/Activities Required By Job

• Complete assigned projects identified by the department mentor
• Attend semi-monthly seminar series
• Complete and present summer project presentation
• Complete internship evaluations at weeks 5 and 10

Primary Project

• Process claim deductions of various types
• Facilitate reconciliation of claims in our Channel Revenue system with the Ledger
• Help identify patterns of claim types and dollar value impact
• Work with our Sales team and Outside Partners to obtain back up and reasons for claims

Educations/Experience Requirements

• Currently obtaining or have obtained an associates or bachelors degree
• 0-2 years
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlooks, and Word
• Ability to communicate effectively with inside and outside partners
• Detail oriented
• Self-starter
• Organizational skills
