Student & New Grad Opportunities – Starting January – February 2023

Student Opportunities

Our student development opportunities include work terms and co-op programs – all designed to give your career a head start. Work terms are typically four or eight months in length and can be counted towards an accredited co-op program with your university. Contracts that are six months or longer, will be eligible for EDC contract benefits.

New Grad Opportunities

Our new grad development opportunities are designed to give your career a head start after graduation. The program is intended to provide recent graduates with valuable work experience while also building EDC’s talent pipeline. These opportunities will allow you to gain exposure to EDC’s various lines of business, diversify your skill set, network with experienced professionals, get involved and make an impact, and receive coaching and mentorship before taking the next step in your career. Work terms are all full-time contracts and are typically six, to eight months in length. Contracts that are six months or longer, will be eligible for EDC contract benefits.

This program is open to early career professionals who have graduated within the past year.

We intend to use this pool to fill multiple opportunities starting in January to February 2023.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program (eligible for up to one year after your graduation date)
• Previous work term experience related to their field of study
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Motivated self-starter, good organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Enthusiasm to tackle any task, whether menial or complex
• Knowledge of both official languages is an asset and may be required for certain positions
