Expected to perform general accounting functions in a fast-paced environment, have good communication skills, and be able to balance high-level strategic goals with everyday tasks. Candidate will be able to work well on a team but also be self-motivated to work efficiently on their own. Will report directly to the Controller and has no direct reports.

• Perform daily banking activities including deposits, wires, and cash position
• Prepare capital authorization requests and monitor spending of capital expenditures
• Compile and analyze financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy
• Support month-end closing activities including preparation of calculations, journal entries and general ledger reconciliations in adherence to the published Finance closing calendar
• Assist in the preparation of financial management reports including, but not limited to, weekly metrics, internal and external monthly financial statements, and annual audits and annual budgets
• Cross train on all functions within Finance to assist/support other staff, including A/R, A/P, and payroll
• Demonstrate appropriate understanding / working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls and investigate and report any inconsistencies or improprieties to the Controller
• Maintain and prepare process documentation as required for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and assist with quarterly self-assessment testing
• Perform other related duties as assigned
