ravel Required Less than 10 Requisition Type Regular br Sr Network Administrator br Iraq br Responsibilities br Provides advice and training to end-users and less-experienced network personnel br Identifies analyzes and resolves network incidents and problems br Provides network equipment specialized training and technical guidance br Determines network specifications input output processes and working parameters for hardware software compatibility br Knowledge of the associated hardware software and equipment associated with USBICES br Participates in special projects as assigned br Analyzes administers and maintains voice video and or data communications networks br Manages the usage and performance of voice video and or data communications networks br Maintains network to meet Enterprise Service Availability and Service Level Agreement requirements br Utilizes IT Service Management ITSM Principles to identify categorize prioritize escalate troubleshoot and resolve incidents br… Maintains network security and ensures compliance with security policies and procedures br Participates in the development and implementation of network-related procedures and standards br Interfaces with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance br Assists with development of third-party monitoring actions and procedures for network infrastructure br Will occasionally be required to perform networks DTS information assurance and logistics duties br Qualifications br Required Qualifications br 5 years of experience br Must possess and maintain a Secret Security Clearance br BA BS degree may substitute additional years of experience br Must possess a completed CCNA certification br Must meet DOD 8750 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access upon hire for positions with elevated privileges and must obtain ITIL V4 Foundation within six months of hire Additional specific certifications may be required depending on job assignment br Knowledge and experience with routing and switching protocols e g OSPF EIGRP BGP Spanning Tree Protocol ISAKMP ESP SIP SCCP etc br Knowledge and experience with current Cisco IOS software and hardware features br Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multi-task while still ensuring high quality of work br Experience working directly with hardware vendors involved in the incident resolution process br Provides Tier II support for problem identification diagnosis and resolution of problems br Supports the timely escalation and communication of status to external and internal customers br Experience with various software systems and architectures communications protocols and network hardware devices br Experience with STIG patching compliance and other security activities br Excellent verbal and written communication skills br Must possess a high degree of intelligence competence maturity adaptability resilience integrity and initiative br The work is typically performed at client site locations which requires proper safety precautions work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials boxes or equipment br Must be willing to work shift work br Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a visa based on the country requirements br Must be able to pass requirements necessary to be medically cleared by the USCENTCOM Clinic or a third party vendor within a reasonable time period as determined at the sole discretion of the customer This includes meeting medical dental and psychological requirements being able to obtain all required immunizations br IAT Level language see the other attachment br Must possess a valid US passport and US driver s license br Preferred Qualifications br Completed CCNP Routing and Switching or CCNP Enterprise br Knowledge and experience with VoIP VTC collaboration systems br Knowledge and experience with HAIPE-based encryption devices br Knowledge and experience with Multicast and GRE Routing br Knowledge of Virtualization technologies as they apply to networking VMware Citrix and Microsoft br Knowledge and experience with data center networking br Experience with firewalls and firewall rule sets br Understanding of network virtualization br Must obtain ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation within six months of hire br Experience supporting multinational customers preferred br Experience operating in deployed environments preferred br Selected candidate must be willing to travel throughout the Middle East Travel may be via commercial or military transport Modes of transport include but are not limited to car truck armored vehicle fixed and rotary wing aircraft br Additional specific certifications may be required depending on job assignment br The position will be based in Iraq There is no guarantee at which base in Iraq the position will be located The position may be relocated at any time within the country of Iraq to meet mission support requirements Work location rotation of locations will be at the Site Lead s discretion br This position may be required to complete short-term deployments to austere locations worldwide Candidate will be expected to live alongside deployed military personnel in military provided accommodation Housing options include but are not limited to open bay tents and multi-personnel containerized housing units CHUs br This position is supporting a fluid military missions You may be required to relocate temporarily or permanently to different operating locations within the CENTCOM AOR br
