JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Director, Integration & Operations will be responsible for strategic integration and operations across all channels and donor segments under $10k. This role will work closely with the strategic leads for the four primary segments of Core, Partners for Change, Inner Circle and President’s Circle to look for cross-program opportunities in strategy and operations. Included in this role is the responsibility for reviewing, understanding and translating donor trends to the future success of the program and the ability to achieve CARE’s multi-year revenue goals. This role is also going to coordinate operational needs and initiatives across the team such as annual budgets and reforecasts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Multi-Channel Integration

  • Work with the strategic leads across the team to drive a multi-channel focus across all donor segments in the Mass/Mid program. Focus is on identifying strategies and opportunities that exist across all programs and donor segments to grow net LTV. Examples of responsibilities are, but not limited to, working closely with the strategic leads for each segment to understand movement of donors up and down the donor pyramid, tipping points for the “quality versus quantity” approach in acquisition across channels and making recommendations around media mix.

Cross-Program Performance Management

  • Responsible for looking at key indicators and other supporter metrics across the entire team to ensure the health of the donor file. Work with CARE’s analytical agency to identify trends that are supporting or have the potential to prevent the ability to meet annual revenue projections. Work with the head of the Mass and Mid team to track the performance of all special investment projects across revenue and expenses. This position will also manage the monthly dashboards which represent full team progress.

Annual and Multi-Year Budgeting

  • Work with the head of the Mass and Mid team on the preparation of full-team financials for CARE’s bi-annual process of budgets and reforecasts. This position will also assist with the tracking of monthly expenses compared to monthly budgets to understand over and under spends.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree or equivalent experience in applicable industry and position.
  • 15+ years involved in nonprofit fundraising, specifically in direct marketing strategy
  • 15+ years with direct financial management (revenue and expenses) of a $15 million + or greater program.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills for leadership level communication.
  • Extensive experience working with multi-functional teams driving integrated thinking, summarizing work across teams and developing new ideas based on
  • Strong comfort with cross-program strategy review.
  • Strong knowledge and past use of Microsoft excel.
  • Excellent skills in a matrixed environment, working across teams to build synergy with beneficial outcomes
