Intern Software Engineering
Role And Responsibilities
May code, test, and debug enhancements to existing software. Work with technical staff to understand problems with software and how to resolve them. May assist in development of software technical documentation, demonstrate software and design/build prototype applications. Work in a team environment collaborating on problem solving and creative solutions.
Preferred Education
- Currently pursuing a degree with a graduation date after August 2023
- Bachelor of Computer Science or related field
General Knowledge And Skills
- 3-5 years coding experience in Java programming language
- At least 2 years scripting experience in one or more Linux scripting languages
- General understanding of test-driven development
- General understanding of agile development methodologies
- General understanding of software design
- General understanding of software repositories
- General understanding of the differences between SOAP and REST services
- Problem solving skills
