About the Team:
Firebolt’s DDL Metadata Team is responsible for DDL statements execution, database & schema Integrity, and providing reliable metadata information for firebolt control & dataplane.
Requirements
Must have:
- Experience working with databases, both traditional and NoSQL, and a deep understanding of SQL language
- 6+ years of proven experience as a professional developer of production software
- 2+ years of experience working with C++ on a production software
- Experience developing for Linux
- Excellent analytical skills
- Last but not least expertise in Algorithms, Data Structures, Concurrency, and Design Patterns. Clean & well-tested code is a must!
A bonus if you have:
- Experience with database internals – Compilers and Execution – a very big plus
- Experience using Go in production
- Fluency in modern c++ (C++11/14/17 and above) language, compilers, libraries, and patterns
- Experience with more than one technology stack
