As the Senior Vice President – Portfolio & Delivery, you will collaborate closely with the EVP Enterprise IT and other N-2 functions, including IT Infrastructure, End-user Ops, and IT Service Management.
Your primary responsibilities will involve active participation in project portfolio planning, budgeting, controlling, and ensuring overall alignment. It is crucial to align closely with the CIO Office function to maintain transparency in operations.
What You Will Do
As a key senior individual in the business, you will be responsible for implementing and ensuring alignment to central processes and guidelines across teams. This includes defining how projects are initiated, prioritised, and executed. Your role encompasses the management of all Agile and Project Change initiatives for Group Infrastructure, Finance, Treasury, Tax, Procurement, and HR. Utilising agile project management methods such as agile backlogs and RAID escalation, you will lead prioritisation and delivery management.
Additionally, you will be tasked with ensuring the alignment of initiatives with Project Governance and Management Reporting. Your responsibilities extend to planning, coordinating, and directly managing assigned programs as directed by the EVP for Enterprise IT. Effective governance and management of Enterprise IT spending within the Portfolio & Delivery function will also be under your control.
In this dynamic environment, you’ll play a pivotal role in facilitating communication and collaboration among project teams. You’ll provide leadership and guidance to managers while building strong and productive relationships with business leadership across all SEFE-Group companies in various locations. Your contribution will be instrumental in the success of our Enterprise IT initiatives.
What You Will Bring
Candidates should possess a university degree in Project Management, IT, Business Administration, Economic Sciences, or have comparable equivalent experience. A university bachelor’s degree in a key corporate domain such as Finance, Treasury, or Procurement, or equivalent experience, will also be considered.
Successful candidates will demonstrate extensive professional experience in IT portfolio management and project controlling, as well as Proficiency in Portfolio level prioritisation frameworks and techniques.
The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in delivering major change programs that impact both business and technology outcomes, utilising structured program management methodologies. They will possess knowledge and understanding of project and program management methodologies, along with key project management certificates.
Experience in working with intercultural teams is preferred, and candidates should have a track record in multi-site and hybrid resource management to deliver projects and achieve business outcomes. Proficiency in MS Project, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, and candidates should demonstrate proficiency in dealing with complex figures and facts.
Business fluency in written and spoken English is required, and in German is desirable.
