Here’s where you come in:

As the Senior Resource Development Advisor for East Asia Region, you will provide strategic leadership and direction on marketing and fundraising in World Vision’s East Asia Region, connecting all initiatives within Global Marketing Team, and supporting all FOs/TFOS within their portfolio to deliver high-quality, sustainable funding. This role leads Asia region alignment with global best-practice initiatives to build industry best in class performance.

Primary responsibilities include building highly collaborative relationships with supported FOs, understanding their fundraising plans, identify capabilities gaps and needs, providing support to build capabilities and link offices to technical expertise, and continually measuring FO capability against marketing plan..

Requirements include:

  • 5-7 years in marketing, fundraising or related role, including 2 years at a leadership level, with demonstrated success in achieving consensus and growth.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience leading a marketing function within one World Vision SOs or NRD and/or 4 years of experience leading a marketing function within a global organization.
  • Demonstrated success building effective working relationships and implementing global, but contextually relevant, marketing and branding in Asia.
  • Extensive experience measuring success of marketing campaigns and activities against targets, and promoting successful achievement of marketing goals.
  • Significant experience leading change through relationship and influence, across diverse teams and cultures, in a complex, multi-cultural, federated environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in strategy, marketing, or highly relevant field.
