Roles and ResponsibilitiesPlumm is one of the UK’s best online platforms for mental wellbeing that connects clients with 150 certified and accredited therapists globally. We are growing at a rapid pace of 30% month-on-month (thats 360% a year!).The size of the behavioural and mental health market is expected to hit $240 billion by 2026. With our current growth, we aim to achieve 2 million users, 1,000 therapists and 3,000 online courses by 2023.We are looking for a Senior React Native Developer to join us on our mission to make Mental Healthcare accessible for all.What You’ll Do:��� Architect and build performant mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.��� Develop highly responsive applications and websites. Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.��� Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.��� Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes��� Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.��� Transition existing web apps features to React Native.��� Enhance the performance of an application close to a native one by removing the constriction.��� Capability to maintain code that is easy to understand.��� Capability to take advantage of native APIs for deep integration of all platforms.��� Coordinate with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructureDesired Candidate Profile��� 5-8 years proven experience as a React Native Developer��� BSc/BA in Computer Science, B.E/BTech or a related field��� Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming.��� Complete familiarity with JavaScript and capability to write script that is optimized and works perfectly.��� Capability to write Well-documented code with JavaScript that is easily readable.��� Having the knowledge of third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts that might occur.��� Understanding of native build tools like XCode, Gradle etc.��� Experience in testing with tools like Jest, Detox, Cypress etc.��� Knowledge about Offline Storage, REST APIs, and document request model.��� Familiarity with the MVC.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns��� Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 and jQuery��� Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)��� Understanding of Agile methodologies��� Attention to detail��� Commitment to perfection��� Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills��� Teamwork skills and a collaborative approach to work��� Ability to motivate yourself, multitask and prioritise your workload��� Strong interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with stakeholders��� Flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment��� Strong work ethic and eagerness to learnPerks and Benefits��� Competitive salary, depending on your experience and market benchmark��� Flexible working from home (remote working)��� 28 days holidays every year��� Your birthday off for your own fun and cake��� Sick and Mental Health days off – Being in the mental health space, the well-being of our people comes first��� Investment in your learning, development and career progression��� Subscription to Plumm s services��� Regular team events & socials��� High level of autonomy and support from a highly ambitious and motivated team��� Long term career opportunities for the right person who applies themselves properly
