Senior Public Affairs Manager/Responsible of think-tanks relations

2. Responsibilities:

A. Strategy & planning: Drive and develop strategic communication programs that increase Huawei’s global brand awareness and thought leadership. Work closely with the Huawei Public affairs and communications team in Europe and Issue management team in Headquarter (Policy to Market, Cyber security, Trade facilitation and Market access etc) to reinforce and execute a high-impact communications program and build up long-term trust with local associations.

B. Represent company in interactions with Think Tank, NGO and industrial organizations. Understand and communicate on Huawei’s position, organize and participate in think-tank working groups, expand Huawei‘s thought leadership and influence in ICT industry.

C. Organize and facilitate external high level stakeholders’ visits, events and activities to set up a good image of the corporation.

3. Requirements for candidate:

1) Experience：

A. The candidates are supposed to have at least 3 years demonstrated experience of public affairs management.

B. The candidate should possess extensive understanding of the operation of major think tanks or NGO who have strong influence of ICT industry policy, understanding of government institution is a plus.

C. Strong oral and written skills and ability to work in a fast-paced.

D. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or Graduate degree preferred.

2) Key ability required:

A. Strong communication, networking, collaboration and interpersonal skills – ability to build relationships of trust with a wide range of individuals and organizations.

1. Have experience in issue management, such as Policy to Market, Cyber Security, trade facilitation & market, Corporate Communication etc.

C. Strategic and flexible thinking – ability to multi-task, project management, and handle complex issues, and translate insights into sound analysis and advice to the business.

D. Ability to work across cultures and lead teams of geographically dispersed people. Experience in working in cross culture environment is a plus.

3) Education background: Graduate from famous universities, Public Affairs, Politics, Law or related
