Cerner’s Interoperability group is hiring a Federal Performance Improvement Leader. In this role, you will lead performance improvement strategies impacting Cerner’s federal client engagements by cultivating external client relationships to achieve business objectives. Some of your responsibilities will include supporting a team of associates responsible for client engagement deliverables; engaging with external clients to define requirements, key value objectives for the engagement, scope, and success metrics; instigating collaboration to determine appropriate strategic solutions for complex challenges; and identifying data points for baseline analysis and discovery. You will craft, communicate, and justify Federal product roadmaps to integrate successfully with commercial product offerings to all levels of Cerner and Federal executive leadership and oversight bodies. Collaborating with the client and internal teams, you will identify client needs and define scope requirements to ensure Cerner products meet the needs, including best practice workflows, scope of capabilities and visual design, analyze outcome and adjust strategy accordingly. Working closely with the product teams, you will help to set priorities for development efforts based on alignment with federal requirements, product’s strategic direction, timelines and contractual specifications. As a Subject Matter Expert for your product areas, you will help demonstrate current and emerging product features and functionally for internal and external stakeholders, and support to respond to client escalations, incidents and outages.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications :

  • At least 8 years of total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
    • At least 2 years of Healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
    • At least 6 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications :

  • PMP Certification

Expectations :

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Willing to travel up to 60% of the time
