We currently have openings for the roles of Investment Analyst / Manager / Associate Director to cater to growing market demands for Choco Up’s funding solutions

ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES

For Associate Directors / Managers:

Primary duties would be focused on driving revenue generation through:

Deal sourcing

  • Building proprietary pipelines to meet KPIs

Managing Deal Cycle (for managers and above)

  • Act as key contact point for all stakeholders e.g. communication between risk team, clients, financial advisors etc
  • Ensure entire process from origination to post funding monitoring e.g. manage junior team members to ensure proposal and due diligence reports are completed in a timely manner

For Managers and Analyst:

Primary duties would be assisting senior team members primarily with:

Conducting investment due diligence

  • Conduct thorough analysis to evaluate companies’ competitiveness and financial health, which includes market and commercial analysis, financial modeling

Managing client relationships

  • Developing an understanding of client’s business models and capital needse.g. assist with client management interviews and information request
  • Structuring funding proposals to fit client’s needs– assist with presentations etc.
  • Monitoring client’s performance (post funding) to identify risks or further investment opportunities

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Undergraduate / Bachelor’s degree
  • 0-3 years of work experience for Analyst, Finance major preferred
  • 3-6 for Manager, 7+ for Associate Director; prior experiences in finance / consulting highly preferred, however also open to other sales / business development backgrounds
  • Keen interest in providing funding solutions for e-commerce merchants and start-ups
