Senior Mobile Product Manager

Summary

Placer.ai Mobile team is responsible for building Placer’s Mobile offering to deliver accurate insights and enabling our customers to take business decisions at scale. As a product manager, you will take responsibility for managing and developing end-to-end product vision, strategy, and roadmaps of the Mobile domain in collaboration with cross-functional partners inside and outside the organization.

Responsibilities

• Be the driving force behind Placer’s Mobile team.
• Set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Mobile team, leading its execution end-to-end from inception through launch.
• Build relationships with our customers and work with them to learn their goals, pains, and needs and translate them to product requirements.
• Lead sprints, planning, and retrospectives and manage agile teams made up of world-class data professionals.
• Write detailed and precise specs, define and set KPIs for your products to make informed product decisions, uncover insights and promote discussions through a data-driven approach
• Play a central role in the Placer.ai product management team and design data-intensive features
• Oversee all aspects of the delivery process to achieve the growth targets of Placer’s product and guarantee smooth and efficient implementation
• Translate business goals into objectives and product KPIs and ensure product initiatives have the right direction and focus to succeed in the market

Requirements

• Experience working on Data-Driven / B2B / SaaS products – Must
• 2+ years as Senior Product management in a fast-paced tech environment – Must
• Strong Mobile data knowledge (Mobile operating systems, Sensors, Permission). Preferably: Managed an SDK product.
• Experience with working with development teams on high complexity systems
• Detail oriented
• Ability to motivate and inspire development teams to achieve beyond what they imagined possible
• Entrepreneurial and analytical; effective at managing change in a fast-moving and constantly evolving business
• Strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into a technical solution
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Computer Science, Engineering, or Statistics degree

Nice To Have

• Experience working with Location Data
• Lived in the US with a strong familiarity with retail brands
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. Master’s degree – Advantage
