Humanitarian and emergency response are core to CARE’s programming and global identity in fighting poverty. The Sr. Manager, Humanitarian Impact Measurement supports the development and implementation of systems for program data collection, analysis and use; strengthens CARE’s humanitarian monitoring and evaluation capacity through training, tools and resources and conducts direct impact measurement, on behalf of the CARE Confederation. S/he will coordinate closely with CARE’s MEAL experts and working groups to ensure coherent tracking and sharing of information to support greater integration and seamlessness between emergency and development programming monitoring and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and Maintain Humanitarian M&E systems.
- Build Humanitarian MEAL Capacity globally
- Data Analysis and use
- Collaboration with MEAL teams across CI
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in complex and natural disasters
- Skills and experience in program assessment, design, monitoring, evaluation & accountability methodologies
- Highly developed experience in quality assurance, standards and accountability mechanisms
- Working knowledge of key humanitarian standards
- Excellent analytical, research, assessment and report writing skills
