The Opportunity

Senior Mananagement Team Intern will be responsible to the Country Director (CD) for providing effective clerical and administrative support services to the Senior Management team in the implementation of activities. Specific duties include preparing correspondence, record management, scheduling appointments, planning/organising meetings and conferences, writing minutes, updating related documents, briefing visitors as well as monitoring the progress of various assignments to ensure that the SMT initiatives are accomplished.

In order to be successful you will bring/have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Administrative Sciences, Economics, Business or related departments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Turkish
  • Maintain confidentiality of privileged information obtained in the course of work
  • Must be willing to learn and adopt to new ideas, ways of working
  • Preferably previous working experience (including paid internships) in NGOs, private sector.
  • Good attention to details and to be able to work under stress
  • Computer literate (including working knowledge of Microsoft Office) and ability to do internet based research
  • Strong organisational skills and discretion with confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Proven ability to handle challenging work load
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Position holder will be based in Istanbul, therefore legal right to work in Türkiye is necessary at the time of application.
