Senior Field Nutrition Officer

• Overview:

PAC is an active NGO established in 2012, registered in Turkey, active in NWS, with other small operations offices in both Yemen and Sudan.

In NWS; PAC is a leading organization in both the health and Nutrition sectors through several central programs that work to improve the resilience of crisis-affected communities in NWS.

PAC’s programs always aimed to build and support the active health and nutrition systems in the target areas through maintaining a high level of integration across several sectors and leads central services to facilitate the provision of the service that other actors are running in NWS.

PAC is fully applying for the Protection against sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA) principles in all its work stages, as well, PAC is highly committed to creating a safe service provision environment based on humanitarian principles, and international humanitarian law, clean of any racism. • Position: Senior Field Nutrition Officer

• REPORTS TO: Project Manager

• PLACE OF WORK: NW Syria

• LANGUAGE: Arabic, Good in English

• Position Overview:

supervising all activities of nutrition centers and rapid response teams technically and logistically

Main Responsibility and main support required:

-Supervising all project activities related to nutrition and health

-Supervising safe and effective management of nutrition, health supplies, and equipment.

-Support the implementation of accurate and timely data collection, monitor data to ensure accuracy, and respond appropriately with changes as needed to achieve targets and goals.

-Assessing the training needs of nutrition and health staff and making appropriate referrals for training.

-Coordinating the development of the nutrition and health programme with local stakeholders and local health directorates.

-Effective communication with local authorities and maintaining a good level of relations with bodies and institutions working in the project area

-Work to ensure the implementation of the organization’s code of conduct and policies

-Coordination and supervision of all humanitarian response activities in the work area

-Periodically send supervision reports.

Qualifications:

• Two years of experience in humanitarian work.
• University degree in a related Field.
• 5 years in logistics and procurement management
• Experience in MS Office programs
• Ability to work under pressures
• Training courses in related fields.
