Nutrition Surveillance Supervisor

• Overview:

PAC is an active NGO established in 2012, registered in Turkey, active in NWS, with other small operations offices in both Yemen and Sudan.

In NWS; PAC is a leading organization in both the health and Nutrition sectors through several central programs that work to improve the resilience of crisis-affected communities in NWS.

PAC’s programs always aimed to build and support the active health and nutrition systems in the target areas through maintaining a high level of integration across several sectors and leads central services to facilitate the provision of the service that other actors are running in NWS.

• Position: Nutrition Surveillance Supervisor

• REPORTS TO: Project Manager

• PLACE OF WORK: NW Syria

• LANGUAGE: Arabic

• Position Overview:

Supervising the work of the nutrition surveillance team and helping them selecting the sample for the assessment

Main Responsibility and main support required:

**-**Managing and implementing the program in the selected locations

-introducing the team to responsible authorities in the working area and help them choose the sample

-To be a link between the planning mechanism and the implementation mechanism

-Timely reporting to the central staff

-Securing devices and supplies for the team

-Ensure that the team performs all the required measurements with appropriate quality

-Supervising the quality of work (including quality supervision: accompanying the team – providing supporting guidance – technical supervision of the standards of service provided – monitoring the quality of performance – making sure to give messages about nutrition, health and hygiene)

-Periodically send supervision reports

Qualifications:

• Two years of experience in humanitarian work.
• University degree in a related Field.
• 5 years in logistics and procurement management
• Experience in MS Office programs
• Ability to work under pressures
• Training courses in related fields
