By nature, you must be curious, collaborative, and persuasive enabling you to provide practical and clear legal advice in a fast-paced environment.We���ll trust you to:Provide global legal advice to the People Team (HR) and Senior Leadership on all aspects of employment law including: recruiting and hiring, contract drafting and review, employee handbook revisions, compensation, employee benefits, immigration, misconduct investigations, performance based actions, disciplinary actions (warnings, terminations), separations, restructures, restrictive covenants, M&A support, etcBuild scalable and sustainable processes for providing legal inputManage outside counsel on advisory matters and employment related litigationCoordinate with the Compliance & Ethics Team as needed on employment mattersDevelop and advise on management and employee training programsYou���ll need to have:Degree in law, licensed to practice7+ years of employment law experience preferably both in a law firm and in-houseAbility to clearly and fluently speak and write in English, any other languages are a major plusWe���d love to see:Experience working in APACDemonstrated ability to successfully work in a multicultural environmentExcellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage numerous projects in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skillsExceptional judgment and client relationship skillsExperience with Compliance programs and functionsPrevious work on Diversity & Inclusion initiatives a plus#LGL #4 #Kualalumpur #Singapore #seoul #hongkong #taiwan #guangzhou #shanghai #beijing #tokyo #osaka #london #barcelona #dubai #madrid #berlin #amsterdam #sanfransisco #dallas #houston #sydney #melbourne #brisbaneEqual Opportunity Employer At Agoda, we pride ourselves on being a company represented by people of all different backgrounds and orientations.
