JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Director of Growth Marketing plays a central role in the strategy and execution of the Careem Platform build. As a part of the Platform team, this role will oversee the lifetime value of our customers across the entire platform and build tools and mechanisms to improve their engagement and drive cross activation across our verticals.

The role will report to the VP of Demand Platform and will work alongside the Product, Data Science and Marketing.

Key Accountabilities

  • Define the vision for Martech and CRM, and drive its implementation
  • Own and improve the Customer funnel across the platform
    • Drive customer platform activation post sign up
    • Drive engagement and cross selling
    • Organise win-back campaigns and retention
  • Drive the automation of the customer engagement across all channels, on and outside the App
    • Build customer journeys
    • Identify engagement and cross-selling opportunities
    • Drive the automation of the funnel across all marketing levers available
    • Closely monitor the impact
  • Oversee and optimise the customer funnel of each Careem vertical and be responsible for optimising the Customer Subsidies budget
  • Drive constant ‘test and learn’ experiments to constantly drive budget optimisation and engagement campaigns impact
  • Closely collaborate with the rest of the marketing team, Product, Data Science
  • Lead status updates, business reviews and resourcing meetings
    • Set annual company audience KPIs (global, regional, monthly/yearly)
    • Conduct regular meetings with management presenting MoM progress, trends & expected marketing activities
    • Provide dashboards presenting key metrics for focus areas (e.g. retention, new users, feature usage, churn, usage trends)
  • Determine the set of North Star metric(s) and KPIs to assess the impact of initiatives and Customer LifeTime Value

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8 years experience in Martech, Customer Growth and Engagement
  • Strong analytical background
  • Experience in building and implementing growth strategies
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, and experimentation
  • Strong understanding of Product, Data Science, Engineering and Digital
