Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities

This role is integral to the growth of the Business with CARE (BwC) team and is a central function that supports business development and income generation whilst delivering on CARE’s brand and impact goals.

As part of the Business with CARE team, you will be leading on the continued development and delivery of the Corporate Fundraising strategy and income function. This includes identifying, managing, and converting a pipeline of corporate donors that align with CARE; and developing winning pitches for CARE’s focus areas 1) charity of the year partnerships, 2) employee engagement, 3) consumer engagement 4) emergency appeal fundraising, 5) event sponsorship and 6) corporate donations. You will leverage CARE’s innovative and impactful poverty fighting work to raise unrestricted income, build brand awareness, and integrate Corporate Fundraising activities into new and existing business partnerships.

About you

You are a motivated self-starter who cares about social justice and doesn’t shy away from a challenge. You have a track record of securing corporate donations and/ or partnerships through building meaningful relationships. You will have experience in planning and delivering new business or fundraising strategies as well as strong account management of multinational companies.

Your key objective is to lead, grow and implement Corporate Fundraising in new and existing partnerships to raise unrestricted funds and brand awareness.

We are looking for a strategic, critical thinker who can consider the evolving needs and priorities of BwC and our corporate partners; as well as the ability to interpret complex technical data e.g. project related and financial into digestible and actionable insights.
