Your opportunity

Our Central Canadian offices are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the US Personal Tax team and own the following responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review US and Canadian tax returns for individuals, including US trust and estate tax returns
  • Prepare and review various US and Canadian foreign reporting forms and information reports
  • Review and respond to related tax notices
  • Conduct and document related tax research, as required
  • Correspond with Internal Revenue Service, State taxation authorities, Canada Revenue Agency and applicable provincial taxation authorities
  • Mentor and train junior staff

Y our experience and education

  • You are working towards or have completed your CPA designation (Canadian or US) or you are an IRs Enrolled Agent
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in the public accounting industry, with a specialization in US Tax
  • You are motivated and diligent in maintaining current technical knowledge in the area of US Tax
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
  • You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
