Your challenges

As Business Process Specialist, you will join Operational Excellence, North West Region (NWE) and be part of a newly established skilled team reporting to the Head of Operational Excellence. Your role is internationally covering the NWE region; the GBI, the Nordics, Netherlands & Belgium.

Your primary role will be to support the Senior Business Process Specialist in identifying alignment and optimisation potentials across markets and translate these into tangible initiatives and project plans. More specifically, you will :

  • Support with mapping of relevant operational business processes
  • Analyse business processes to identify improvement potential
  • Support on defining and scoping initiatives to realise process optimisations
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Operational Excellence team to ensure standardisation of processes across the NWE region
  • Establish sound and collaborative relations with the Digital Operations team to identify optimisation potential through digitalisation and automation
  • Passionately represent the regional operations agenda focusing on regionalisation and standardisation internally in VELUX
  • Proactively promote the use of relevant dashboards and reporting tools and embrace a data led decision making culture

You will be based in one of our offices in North Western Europe – Hørsholm (Denmark), Glenrothes (UK), Utrecht (Netherlands) or Wavre (Belgium). You must expect approximately 20 days of travelling annually across our markets.

Your Qualifications

You are a self-starter, ready to roll-up your sleeves and execute on your tasks. You describe yourself as structured, solution oriented and a fast learner able to prioritise and structure your work to meet your deliverables on time and at required quality.

On a personal level, you come across as accommodating, assertive and convincing and you easily engage with stakeholders across cultures and organisational levels utilising your excellent communication skills. You are characterised by your robustness and you are not afraid to challenge and influence stakeholders in a respectful and curious way to achieve results.

Moreover, we expect that you :

  • Hold a Master’s degree or are about to finish your degree in Engineering, Economics or the like
  • Having some experience working with process optimisation (LEAN or similar) will be advantageous
  • Speak and write English fluently
