Learning Support Assistant needed for a all aged SEND school in Telford Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience supporting students with SEND? I am currently recruiting for a SEND school in Telford that are looking to appoint 3 new Learning Support Assistant’s with SEND experience including complex needs, autism and social, emotional mental health. The positions are on a long-term basis with the view to take on permanent. They are seeking people that are Level 2/3 qualified and have experience of working with SEND children in a care or education setting. This position would be good for someone with a sporty background or previous youth worker experience. As a Learning Support Assistant you will be working alongside the class Teacher and other TA’s supporting pupils with everyday school life, however, there will be times that you will need to be supporting children on a one to one and small groups bases independently. You will be a source of support for pupils and will ensure they are motivated, happy, and engaged. The school caters for children with a wide range of needs including autism, complex needs and social emotional mental health. The school caters for all aged children. The successful candidate will bring at least 1 years of experience to the role and a desire to work with children with SEND. You will be empathetic and determined to make a difference.
