Overview

Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety and security patrols and respond to requests for assistance in accordance with written hospital policy and department standard operation procedure (SOP).
  • Have a proactive and engaged approach to job duties.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school or equivalent GED.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English and have basic computer skills.

(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience).

Licensure/Certification

  • Must be 21 in order to be covered under NRHS insurance carrier.
  • Must have valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
  • Must successfully complete legal issues, the force continuum, handcuffing techniques and O.C. pepper spray within one year of employment or have supporting training current.
  • Full time may be required to have Notary.
  • Must have current CLEET Unarmed Security License or be able to attain within one year of hire.
  • Must successfully complete IAHSS Basic certification within 1 Year of hire.
  • Must complete MANDT de-escalation training within 1 year of hire.
  • Must complete ICS training modules during first 30 day training period.

Compensation/Benefits

  • $13.74-$22.44/hr depending on previous work experience.
