What you’ll do:
Collection of assigned customer accounts with consistent follow-up on payments and payment status.
Responsible for timely collection of assigned accounts, up to 500 franchisee accounts
Consistent follow up with customers regarding payments and payment status
Provide thorough documentation of customer interaction through notes and within the accounting system
Communication of account statuses to Sales and Credit Controller in a timely fashion
Research customer disputes in a timely fashion
Perform account reconciliations as needed
Provide customers with requested documentation, such as invoices, credits, PODs, and any other billing backup as needed
Payment application to assigned accounts including check, ACH/EFT, and credit card payment.

Do you have the following skills/experience?
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business
2-4 years of experience with AR Collections
Excellent verbal and written communication skills via email and over the phone
Investigative and problem-solving mindset
Ability to research, identify and resolve discrepancies independently or within a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in a paperless environment
Strong Excel skills are a must
Prior experience with SAP preferred. Enterprise accounting software is required.
Salesforce experience preferred but not required

This job does have some physical demands as well. Can you:
Sitting or standing at a desk while using the phone and computer
Ability to periodically work overtime

 

This position is currently remote, we plan to be back in the office by the end of the year. Office is located in Tustin, CA and Montebello, CA. The company does not provide relocation.
