
Collective Aid
Description
The Programmes Manager (Bosnia & Herzegovina) is responsible for the overall management and evaluation of Collective Aid’s projects in the country.
Conditions
- Stipended positions: 500€/month.
- Final candidate will live in the Collective Aid volunteer houses with the volunteers and coordinators. The Programmes Manager will have their own room.
Responsibilities and Expectations
- Organizing programmes and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
- Developing new programmes in line with the strategic direction of the organization.
- Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Creating and managing long-term goals.
- Regular evaluation of program strengths and identification of areas for improvement.
- Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
- Direct line-management of coordinators and assisting their professional development.
- This includes facilitating appraisal, check-ins with a duty to provide feedback, and an expectation to participate in disciplinary procedures if and when necessary.
- Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status and reporting to the Executive Director.
- Managing local budget and ensuring that there are funds for the overall running of the programmes.
- Liaising with individuals working for Collective Aid including a local lawyer, landlord and accountant.
- Ensuring legal pathways are upheld, this includes obtaining necessary documentation for volunteers and coordinators to work in Bosnia.
