Sales Executive – SaaS Digital Technologies

Client:

A dynamic and successful global company specializing in digital platforms that enable the development of financial solutions. A strong track-record with over 20 offices globally, to include the US and Asia, they have a very well-established presence in Switzerland and the DACH region in general as well as Europe as a whole. As they continue to become a market leader in their field, they are looking to grow their sales force – with the role being based out of either Zurich or Geneva. This is a chance for a dynamic, young, driven SAAS sales executive to join a super employer! Your experience will come from either a software vendor in the financial services/wealth management/asset management space or from management consulting. This is a tech company that does a lot of great things and works at a fast pace. With our Client having already landed a number of major accounts, the network is there! What we are looking for is a young and experienced sales executive who has the knack of selling game-changing digital technology and who can combine this with deep client relationships. Joining our Client’s Europe Sales team, you will be working in the French or German-speaking Wealth and Asset Management segments. With our client bringing to the market a global next generation digital investment and insurance capabilities, this will allow them to expand and continue to grow the number of new, major accounts – so something exciting and rewarding to be part of! Main responsibilities:

  • Positioning the Company’s offering in the target markets
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Company’s consultative and solution selling process
  • Self-generate sale pipeline to win new business and develop existing accounts as well as work with partners and internal business development resources on lead generation
  • Leading meetings with decision makers including C-Levels and growing a thorough understanding of their strategy while at the same time educating them on how SaaS digital technologies can differentiate their businesses
  • Managing identified opportunities from initial engagement through to contract closure, as well as accurately forecasting new business
  • Lead the preparation of proposals that expertly articulate the Company’s value proposition and how it supports the prospect’s strategic objectives
  • Any further duties that may be requested by the Company from time to time

Profile:

  • Confirmed experience in the Sales SaaS space for banking or financial services and technology (your experience should typically come from a management consultancy or a software vendor company for wealth management for example)
  • Relevant education level/qualifications
  • Ability to gain access to and build trusting relationships with executive levels of an organization and interact with senior level corporate management
  • Demonstrate a network of relationships in the Wealth, Asset Management and Securities segments
  • A vibrant personality who can inspire others about our Client’s vision for the future of digital technology in financial services
  • Proven ability to exceed sales targets and manage complex transformational deals
  • Mixture of business value positioning capabilities alongside technology product value proposition and able to speak to technical and non-technical executives alike
  • Strong solution selling skills with familiarity of sales techniques like the challenger model
  • Operate with a sense of urgency, be competitive, and demonstrate a positive, winning attitude
  • Working language is English but fluency in a relevant local language essential (either German or French); other languages useful (such as Italian or Spanish) but not a must
  • Happy to travel to see clients (B2B) and open to working from home as well as from the office
  • Already in possession of a valid Swiss work permit or eligible
