Sales Business Support
Location – Dubai, UAE
Objectives of the Position
On this role you will take full ownership and responsibility for back office processes, order management, customer relationship management, providing relevant information and supporting the sales team.
Act as the main order contact partner for customers for managing day to day order enquiries and for executing deliveries according to the agreement between Business Units and customers
Responsible and accountable for order entry. Monitor and manage sales orders with availability dates in SAP to ensure feasible product supply
Perform first availability check and confirm orders. In case of deviations of availability, ensure timely information to customers
Liaise with production/supply chain on order allocations and supply chain issues affecting supply
Ensure customer data is recorded via PASTIS Web and contribute to data quality by regular review of relevant information for order management
Create all export relevant documents related to sales and purchase orders. This includes bank documents when routed via bank
Place a customer non-conformance in SAP QM system and ensure consequent communication to the customers and diligent closing of the non-conformance case
Monitoring customer overdues and supporting sales for payment collection
keeping the approval matrix for credit-/ debit note, return orders and triggering credit-/debit note, return orders out of a NCM cases or a business decision
Issue credit / debit notes for customers based on NCM cases or a business decision
Maintaining a database of offers made to customers and performs monthly checks to ensure that agreed pricing is properly invoiced
Support sales team on projects, monthly sales forecast & S&OP
Support sales team for exhibitions and other internal/external events
Support sales team for Government tender documentation
Increase customer intimacy together with Sales team
Ensure pricing is done correctly in SAP by co-ordinating with sales team
0-4 years of working experience
A sound understanding of business systems and S&OP processes, planning tools
Excellent people interaction/good business acumen. Ability to work in a diverse multinational environment
Must be committed to quality principles and be able to influence others
Must be comfortable with structured planning and using action plans to monitor progressharepoint
Profound IT-skills in relevant applications like SAP. Excellent interaction and analytical skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, Outlook), web applications (e.g. Pastis web, CRM tools)
Fluent in English. German and Arabic will be an advantage
