MAIN PURPOSE

The E-commerce Manager will be responsible for increasing customer conversions and developing Maison’s digital proposition for the UAE market. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the E-Commerce Manager will effectively be taking ownership of trading the website, from devising the overall commercial strategy with the internal teams, to monitoring daily activity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ecom Strategy
Establish & implement the local E-commerce strategy to reach targets defined while ensuring alignment with E-Commerce Central teams & Local guidelines
Develop a targeted e-CRM strategy for activating and retaining online consumers in close collaboration with the communication and client’s teams in the region and HQ
Responsible to create & maintain relationships with central and regional teams by organizing monthly meetings
Be part of all developments/upgrade projects in close collaboration with central teams
Propose innovative solutions to better engage with our audience having a 360 approach with other touchpoints

Ecom Business Performance & Sales Achievement
Oversee all commercial Ecom activities and sales achievements, including content calendar and merchandising
Responsible for the definition of clear action plans to achieve ambitions based on solid performance, environment and competencies analysis
Monitor the competitive environment and adjust strategy and action plans accordingly
Responsible for all product categories, ensuring business opportunities are maximized to their potential
Identify & develop new digital partnerships projects (watch specialists & other) in partnership with the local Commercial Team and HQ (Ecommerce) teams
Reporting & Analysis
Oversees providing timely and accurate weekly estimates & comments on Ecom on behalf of the commercial leadership
Is responsible to compile and lead all short-, medium- or long-term forecasts on behalf of the commercial leadership team
Is the key contact for any ad-hoc request into the performance of Ecom business
Provide timely and accurate reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis related to Ecom business
Operations
Monitor Exchanges and refunds related to Ecom business
Is responsible to compile and follow up on bugs raised for issues on the website
Is responsible for monitoring inventories and stock movement management
Is in charge of stock transfers monitoring and manual stock updates upon request

JOB PROFILE

Education
Fifth-year college or university certificate

Required experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position

Language abilities
Ability to read, write & speak English, Arabic & French is a “plus”

Technical skills / abilities
A versatile professional with a clear understanding of E-Commerce (Strategy, sales performances, merchandising)
Advanced experience in using, Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel
Possess Salesforce Cloud knowledge
Customer-Centric – understanding what will create a great digital experience and keeping the eCommerce site fresh and relevant across Desktop, Mobile and Tablet
Ability to increase E-Commerce sales by proposing a strong strategy with an analytical mind
Demonstrates attention to detail
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
Strong interpersonal relationships skills
Digital and technology acumen

Personal skills
Used to work within small Ecommerce teams, who will roll their sleeves up and deliver results
