Job Description
The Sales Director Middle East / India is responsible for the development, implementation and follow up of a strategic sales plan that will allow SPI to reinforce its presence and rapidly expand its footprint in the assigned region with all commercial aerospace customers (Lessors, Airlines, OEMs). He/She will drive new business sales by utilizing a successful history of sales strategies and excellent team leadership.

Cultivate successful customer relationships at all levels (from operational to C-level) that focus on mutual benefits, maximize the partnership potential, and drive to constantly meet or exceed customer expectations
Act as the primary point of contact for each appointed customer and be a customer advocate for them within the organization.
Visit the customers as needed
Develop well-organized, informative proposals in response to customer requests (RFPs). Solicit and coordinate other internal resources when needed or desire
Develop and present detailed product and system presentations
Track and maintain reporting on sales opportunities
Manage product/services mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims
Lead customer contract negotiations and coordinate other internal resources as necessary
Ensure sales strategy collaboration with other departments
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
Attend trade shows and seminars, demonstrate products, articulate competitive benefits of company products and services
Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including management of the regional sales team if any and working collaboratively with all business development stakeholders within Safran in the region (BDA, DG2i, Connectivity Partners, and other Safran BU Sales Staff) in order to leverage knowledge, contacts and support
Job Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical and/or sales/marketing discipline
M.B.A. Preferred
10+ years of experience working in a similar role
Good understanding of the IFE competitive landscape, products and systems
Possess a strong passion for customer satisfaction
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook)
Strong sense of personal accountability and responsibility
High degree of passion and perseverance
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English & Mandarin
Strong at public speaking
Good Customer Relationship skills
Must be proactive, meticulous, organized, and detail oriented
Ability to efficiently resolve problems in a positive manner
Ability to accomplish multiple tasks
Ability to work independently, with minimal direction
Ability to effectively and positively lead cross-functional teams to complete tasks in a timely manner

Domestic and international travel will be required; including Europe (Trade Shows), California (headquarter), and assigned region – 30% minimum estimated travel
