Job Role

The Risk Anticipation & Data Reporting (RADAR) department has a vacancy for a Risk Data Analyst. The Risk Anticipation, Data and Reporting Team (RADAR)has responsibility for data governance, strategy, user adoption for new Data Warehouses, risk anticipation and reporting across OVF. It also has responsibility for maintaining and enhancing existing data infrastructure used by the OVF risk department as well as operations.

 

The role will primarily support the Retail Risk area, enhance the Consumer Risk Data infrastructure and deliver automated reports. Ad-hoc support into Collection and Corporate risk will be also required.

Position Objectives & Responsibilities

·       Work on cross functional data and reporting team with representatives from risk and operations across the European markets

·       Owns the update process and maintenance of current monthly risk data infrastructure (IDI)

·       Supply recurring analytics to senior manager via Tableau dashboard and act as an expert within Risk to promote the usage of the tool.

·       Supports & owns the enhancements of risk data infrastructure by being accountable of deliveries.

·       Supports & owns the implementation of data warehouses and data marts as part of the data strategy initiative

·       Supports the data requirements gathering process from a technical prospective working closely with stakeholders & RADAR PM

·       Owns master data documentation and data dictionary development

·       Understanding and promoting the company’s policy on Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).

·       To ensure ongoing adherence to all relevant compliance regulations that may govern the business and complete all regulatory knowledge training where applicable in a timely fashion

Qualifications and Experience

·       Math or statistics master level degree.

·       Extended knowledge of Alteryx, SAS (Base, Macros) and SQL.

·       Very good knowledge in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)

·       Experience in using Tableau, at expert level.

·       Experience within the financial/automotive sector or within a financial institution.

·       Experience in delivering written and verbal communications to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

 

Skills & Knowledge

·       Highly self-motivated and able to work well under pressure and in a very flexible way

·       Problem solving ability

·       Good planning and organizational skills

·       Fluent in English – verbal and written
