Description

Main Purpose is to provide outpatient and/or inpatient medical care to patients/beneficiaries according to adapted and updated medical knowledge, values and universal hygiene standards to improve the patients/beneficiaries health conditions in Bahrka IDP camp.

 Perform rehabilitation oriented medical assessments, sets up rehabilitation treatment plan, follows up patients’ evolution, and evaluates functional outcomes.

  • Apply his/her medical knowledge and skills to diagnose, treat and prevent.
  • Performs medical initial examination of every newly admitted patient in OPD: documents patient history and clinical data in the file (Initial examination form) and prescribes necessary treatment.
  • Carries out medical consultations in OPD, scheduled and according to the needs, works in close collaboration with nurses (pain management, dressing, wounds follow up etc.)

. • Assesses and follows patients’ physical impairments, functional limitations, level of dependence. Set up patients’ treatment plan, including physiotherapy treatment. Organize follow up (consultation, X-Ray and Lab tests prescription when needed).

  • Perform follow up consultation (minimum 1/ month per patient) to ensure that objectives matches with treatment plan and clinical evolution.
  • Keeps the patient and his/her family informed about his/her condition, evolution, and provides appropriate explanations about the treatment received.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Education Medical Doctor Diploma, Rheumatology specialist

Experience 2-year experience minimum as a Rheumatologist.

Experience desirable in Orthopedics or Rehabilitation care

Language, Arabic is essential, and Kurdish.

Knowledge Essential computer literacy (word, excel)

Competencies Ability to work with multi – disciplinary and Multi – cultural team, Ability to listen, Diplomacy, motivation, tolerance, capacity to work in a team.
