Job description:
The specialist is responsible of conducting examination according with the recommendation of doctors and using the proper tool/equipment and using ultrasound based on the doctors need.
Main Responsibilities:
- regularly check the condition of the equipment
- conduct the examination according with the patient need and doctor recommendation
- coordinate with the doctor for a proper follow up of the patient
- immediately inform the doctor about any urgent issue
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Doctor of Medicine degree and valid license to practice the profession (including registration with Kurdistan DoH), having ultrasound training with certificate from MoH for practicing in gynecological and obstetrical consultations.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
- Excellent knowledge about the use of ultra sound and other diagnostics equipment
- Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
- In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
- Computer and basic IT skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Check-up and follow up on pregnant women and other maternity-related patients while also taking care of patients with obstetric gynecological symptoms
- Respect for patient’s confidentiality
- Compassionate and approachable
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Good experience in providing prenatal care, postnatal care and family planning
- Languages:
- Require excellent oral and written Arabic Kurdish.
