VisionFund International (VFI) is a not-for-profit microfinance arm of World Vision, a child-focused global development, relief, and advocacy organization. VFI’s global network of 24 microfinance institutions (MFIs) across Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Latin America has over 1 million clients, creating and sustaining more than 1.5 million jobs while impacting the lives of over 3.6 million children.

VisionFund is constantly innovating new financial inclusion solutions to better serve its clients’ diverse needs. For some countries, a mobile banking channel has already been provided via USSD with basic features, such as balance inquiry, mini statement, and PIN change. The penetration of smartphones is constantly rising in VisionFund customers, leading to a desire to implement a mobile banking platform that will provide comprehensive services through a mobile phone app. VisionFund wishes to acquire such a mobile banking solution which can be implemented in turn by each VisionFund MFI, and integrated to the Core Banking System and external service providers in each country.
VFI through WVI invites bids for a mobile banking solution to offer mobile banking services to its customers. This solution will initially be implemented at one MFI. If the solution and vendor prove successful, VisionFund intends to implement out the same solution at multiple MFIs.
