We are in need of a Quality Manager for one of our direct hire job opportunities in Potterville, MI. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing both the quality system at the facility (compliance with IATF 16949:2016) and day- to – day quality assurance operations. This facility is a small operation and you will be expected to be on the floor evaluating parts in production. Pay for this role is experience based.

Schedule: Typical work week is 9 hours per day Monday through Thursday, and 6 hours on Friday

Duties Of a Quality Manager
Generate and update PPAP documentation.
Perform part measurements using basic handheld measurement equipment.
Verify that product meets quality standards and conforms to print specifications.
Manage quality system and be lead contact for IATF Audits.
Train production team on paperwork and quality procedures.
Operate as main point of contact with customers on quality complaints.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must comply with company safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds.
Quality Assurance Experience: Minimum 4 years at an IATF 16949:2016 (formerly TS 16949) company in a quality assurance role
Education: High school or equivalent minimum
Manufacturing Experience: Minimum 4 years
IATF or TS auditing: 4 years (Required)
