Would you like to use your skills in financial management to help Tearfund reach its goal of ending global poverty? Tearfund’s International Finance team seek to provide an integrated, high quality and effective financial and systems support.
This role will ensure strategic, first class and customer-focused finance business partnering support is delivered to the Eurasia and North Africa Region.
The successful candidate will have:
- CCAB or equivalent professional qualification with budget, planning and forecasting experience
- Motivating remote finance staff to ensure a first class finance customer service is delivered across a regional team
- Driving forward the business planning activities within the finance function of a complex organisation
- Budget, planning and forecasting – produce, collate and deliver regional team budgets and forecasts, providing commentary on variances
- Good experience of donor reporting and donor proposal budgeting
- Good understanding of fund accounting
- Financial Management – proven experience in ensuring all financial reports are accurate and delivered to deadlines, whilst ensuring all year end reporting requirements are adhered to
- Demonstrated ability in financial capacity building
- Experience of implementing new processes, procedures and controls
- Excellent communication skills
