We are seeking a Regional Director to oversee day program operations in Northern NJ. This role will be based in Clifton and will require travel to various programs throughout Northern NJ.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of management experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in a day program setting
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- Team oriented with demonstrated leadership experience
- Experience with problem solving against multiple priorities
- Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports
- Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily operations of Day Programs and Quality Supports
- Assess operational issues and develop comprehensive solutions to maintain a high-quality program
- Assist with the development of current and future programs and quality supports
- Provide quality assurance oversight to ensure programs and supports align with state contracts
- Lead and train your team to support programmatic initiatives, goals, daily routines, and the unique needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Manage staff performance through effective communication, training, performance management, staff meetings, and employee recognition
- Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed
- Manage relationships with the families and guardians of the individuals in our care
- Cooperate with audits, inspections, and investigations
- Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
