Regional Platform- Asia: The Asia regional platform contributes to and implements Oxfam’s Global Objectives and Strategy and leads the implementation of Oxfam in Asia Strategic Framework, by providing vision and strategic direction to all of Oxfam’s work in Asia. This includes Oxfam’s humanitarian responses and the localization of humanitarian leadership, long term development programming and influencing work. Responsible and accountable for the strategic direction and effective management of the programming in Asia, effective management of financial and human resources in line with Oxfam policy and provide high-level support and representation for advocacy, fundraising and any other representational purposes in support Oxfam’s work and interest while ensuring gender justice and feminist principles are adopted.

The Role

Oxfam International Asia Regional Platform is looking for a Regional Business Development Manager – Asia who leads on new business development in support of all countries and regional programs in Asia; creating, identifying and accessing new funding opportunities; maintaining a consistent standard of donor relations and ensuring high-quality proposal development across variable country contexts. They will actively seek to grow income for Oxfam through regional funding opportunities and consortium partnerships. They will also be at the forefront of exploring the emerging Asian institutional funding market.

The Regional Business Development Manager Asia will support the Asia Regional Platform and the Asia Leadership Team in providing strategic leadership on resource mobilization across all countries in the region.

Who we’re looking for

Regional Business Development Manager Asia with Demonstrated experience and success in engaging with bilateral and multilateral donors in Asia for an International Non-Government Organisation and University degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Law, Economics, or International Development or other relevant experience. S/he should possess successful track record in developing and implementing resource mobilization strategies, extensive experience in developing program proposals, strong networking, representational, coordination of multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams and high level negotiation skills with capacity building experience and skills in relation to program funding or related field.
