Job Overview/Summary:

The Real Estate Project Manager is responsible for managing IRC’s real estate projects, in collaboration with the Senior Project Manager, primarily in the US. The project manager will work cross-functionally with both internal and external partners, finance managers, global sourcing and procurement, safety and security, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and consistently lead all aspects of the real estate and design process for new offices.
  • Effectively navigate project complexities to contribute to the overall success of the project team while adhering to organization and project goals and standards of excellence in design, execution, and sustainability.
  • Support the Senior Real Estate Project Manager to strategize, evaluate and implement real estate investments and projects on behalf of the IRC.
  • Oversee project teams, including internal/external partners, design consultants, contractors, and suppliers. Ensure project plans adhere to IRC IT/AV and Safety & Security requirements and all drawing sets are coordinated throughout the SD/DD/CD design phases.
  • Complete lease financial analyses on the current real estate portfolio.
  • Coordinate and oversee real estate market searches and program site locations, including but not limited to production of broker packages, engagement of local brokers and site tours/walkthroughs. Evaluate real estate alternatives and lease options on qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Define and coordinate project goals, charters, budgets/anticipated cost reports, and schedules, ensuring targets are met.
  • Manage construction activities with the local operations team and/or landlord project management team for each site.
  • Prepare reporting documentation on a regular and as-needed basis.
  • Work closely with the Senior Real Estate Project Manager and global supply chain teams to ensure all contracted project work complies with IRC procurement policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support GREWS’ portfolio management responsibilities, GREWS workplace solutions services or other management areas.

Key Working Relationships:

  • Directly reports to the Senior Real Estate Project Manager.
  • Collaborates with GREWS leadership, Finance, Global Supply Chain, local area teams, and other project management partners.

Position Requirements:

  • 2-4 years’ experience as a project manager in a real estate, construction, or facilities environment, with a track record of successfully running complex projects on time and on budget.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, real estate, construction management, economics.
  • Strong digital literacy with ability to work effectively and accurately with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Adaptability to a variety of internal applications.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and can process multiple details simultaneously and accurately.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Self-starter with the ability to successfully interact with team members in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Experience working with project management platforms.
  • Flexible work demeanor and can work efficiently in both a team environment & independently.

**Working Environment:**Hybrid work environment with 3 days in the office. May require some project-related travel.

Compensation: Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
