We’re looking for a React full stack developer with PHP and/or Java experience, to join our UBS Digital Legal Solutions team where you will be involved in the development of Cloud based solutions. You will be building applications that give the end user an amazing user experience, bringing access to their favorite applications at a 3 click distance.

You will :

• provide technical expertise and recommendations in building UI components and projects and enhance our existing applications
• apply a broad range of software architecture and engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated unit and integration testing and deployment
• create, design, develop, and improve new digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees: understanding, representing and advocating for client needs
• ensure the quality, security, reliability, documentation and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
• bring user experience and user journey at the heart of the design
• share knowledge and expertise with colleagues within the crew and beyond, help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities
• have interest in learning new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind

Your team
In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and they encompass multiple autonomous (yet interlinked) pods.

You will be part of the Digital Legal Solutions team which aims at creating and delivering beautiful and fluid user experience to both Group Legal employees and its business clients. You will be working with a multi-cultural, collaborative global team (covering Switzerland, US, UK, Poland, and India) working closely together to deliver seamless, global solutions for our stakeholders.

Your expertise

• expert with React and Javascript/ Typescript / Node.js architecture, design, components and libraries (Redux, Webpack, Babel, CSS, HTML, Jest, Mocha)
• ideally, good knowledge with hands-on experience in Java, OOP, Design Patterns, Micro-services Architecture, Unit / Component / System Integration testing experience – TDD/BDD strong knowledge (API / UI testing a real plus)
• good knowledge in Git Hub, Git Labs, Cloud deployment, CI/CD pipelines, containerization a container orchestration
• at ease with basic SQL design and scripting as well as one or more scripting language (Shell / PowerShell / Python / Groovy). Experience with PHP can be a key decision point as there will be integration work with Drupal as a backend
• proficient with Agile methodologies, Scrum Master experience would be a real plus
• you are pro-active and a self-starter, willing to learn new things, challenge the status-quo and work independently
• you are a strong communicator and understand the value of creating appealing presentations and demos in English language, you are an inspiring technical leader and role model for your peers
