General Description of the Programme:
GOAL has been working in Syria since 2013, responding to the acute needs of conflict-affected communities. GOAL is working in Idleb Governate, both through direct implementation and through partners, delivering food, non-food programming to highly vulnerable populations, and provision of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) through support to Water units, as well as emergency support to recently displaced households.

Job purpose:
Under the direct supervision of the SMEs Team Leader, the SMEs Team Members will primarily be responsible for the implementation of regular SMEs activities in target markets. Including base line assessment / market assessment activities /price collecting process –vendors application and technical support assistant.

تحت الإشراف المباشر لقائد فريق المشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة ، سيكون أعضاء فريق المشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة مسؤولين بشكل أساسي عن تنفيذ الأنشطة العادية للمشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة في الأسواق المستهدفة. بما في ذلك تقييم خط الأساس / أنشطة تقييم السوق / عملية جمع الأسعار – تطبيق البائعين ومساعد الدعم الفني**.**
Duties, objectives, and competencies:
- Carry out regular SMEs activities in target markets. Including base line assessment / market assessment activities /price collecting process –vendors application and technical support assistant
- Communication and engagement with shopkeepers involved in GOAL’s SMEs programmes to ensure understanding of and compliance with the contract terms; take measures in case of violations according to the GOAL procedures.
- Collect/enter data using smartphones (tablets) for GOAL’s program information management system, ensure data is accurate and it is collected and uploaded on time.
- Participate in data collection for assessment to inform the design of new programs and promote community participation in this process.
- Support evaluation through organizing field visits and participating as a team member if required.
- Receive complaints and feedback from community members and ensure these are registered in complaints and feedback system in line with relevant GOAL procedures.
- Any other task requested by the line manager.

- جمع / إدخال البيانات باستخدام الهواتف الذكية (الأجهزة اللوحية) لنظام إدارة معلومات برنامججول، والتأكد من دقة البيانات وجمعها وتحميلها في الوقت المحدد**.**
- المشاركة في جمع البيانات للتقييم للإبلاغ عن تصميم برامج جديدة وتعزيز مشاركة المجتمع في هذه العملية
- دعم التقييم من خلال تنظيم الزيارات الميدانية والمشاركة كعضو في الفريق إذا لزم الأمر
- تلقي الشكاوى وردود الفعل من أعضاء المجتمع والتأكد من تسجيلها في نظام الشكاوى والملاحظات بما يتماشى مع إجراءاتجولذات الصلة
- أي مهمة أخرى يطلبها المدير المباشر
Requirements (essential)
- Bachelor’s degree in (social science, economics, information management or any related field)
- Experience of working in Syria in Azaz/ Afrin areas in which GOAL is working.
- At least 2 year’s work experience participating in voucher/cash or market-based programming.
- At least 6 months experience working in the livelihood’s economic activities, social and economic empowerment, business development
- Experience of data collection, entry.
- Flexible about working long hours
- Detail oriented and strong clerical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well with people of all backgrounds, excellent relationship building skills.
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel)
- Good communication skills (written, spoken), including excellent writing skills in English and Arabic
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively to the field (up to 80%), sometimes under difficult and insecure circumstances and stay overnight in programme areas

- خبرة 6 أشهر على الأقل في العمل في الأنشطة الاقتصادية لسبل العيش ، والتمكين الاجتماعي والاقتصادي ، وتطوير الأعمال
- خبرة في جمع البيانات وإدخالها
- المرونة في العمل لساعات طويلة
- التفاصيل الموجهة والمهارات الكتابية قوية
- مهارات ممتازة في التعامل مع الآخرين والقدرة على التفاعل بشكل جيد مع الناس من جميع الخلفيات ، ومهارات بناء علاقات ممتازة
- مهارات جيدة في استخدام الكمبيوتر (وردواكسل)
- مهارات اتصال جيدة (كتابة وتحدثا) ، بما في ذلك مهارات الكتابة الممتازة باللغتين الإنجليزية والعربية
