I’m currently recruiting a Quality Specialist in Huddersfield to join a family owned business that produce revolutionary eye care solutions. You will be a key stakeholder in the company managing and implementing the Quality strategy across the business

Description
- Maintain and improve where necessary company quality standards
- Review and monitor all operations to improve product quality and consistency the in-house manufacturing process and sub-contract manufacturer supplied items
- Manage an audit programme
- Train and educate staff to ensure standards are met and adhered to
- Devise and maintain procedures to report performance to senior management
- Keep records and maintain quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation
- Ensure all product regulatory standards are met
Profile
Essential
- 2-5 years experience in a medical device background
- Worked in an ISO13485 environment
- Good interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience with low volume manual lines
- Qualified to be a PRRC under the EU MDR
- Experience of running an ISO13485 Quality Management System
- Qualified as an Internal Auditor of ISO13485
