The role: QA Engineer

As a QA Test Automation Engineer at 24sessions, you will be responsible for retaining and improving the quality of our products, when they hit production. You work closely with our Product development teams, supporting them to define and execute testing strategies for current and new products. And you focus on automated end-to-end quality assurance of the products & services.

Our Product Engineering teams have the freedom and authority to create impactful products to empower both our internal and external customers. We use an agile development methodology, ensuring our applications are rigorously tested before delivered to our customers.

• You are a smart & ambitious, creative Engineer with an innovative mindset and a data-driven approach to your work. Alongside this, you are an effective communicator that is able to convey your ideas clearly and concisely to multiple audiences and keen to mentor other Engineers across the team.

What You’ll Do

• Functional testing of a new functionality developed by the squad
• Creating new test cases in Testrail
• Performing regression testing together with other QA team members before the release
• Join sprint routines and ensure stories are refined for accurate testing.
• Working on test automation

What You’ll Bring

• 4+ years of QA engineer experience
• Strong experience with Manual Testing and Test Automation
• Experience writing automated tests in Java. Selenide experience will be a plus but not required.
• Experience with testing web based applications or services is an absolute must
• Experience working in the product company with web based products.
• You strive to understand customer needs and see the product from the customer perspective
• Exceptional eye for detail
• Self-starter and you take initiative to improve products and processes
• You dive deep to understand feature from different angles before writing test cases
• Good communications skills are essential
