Overview of position:

  • HART is looking for suitable candidates in Public Relations Management for one of their project

Role objectives:

  • Within the team, the Public Relations Manager will have a key role when it comes to liaising with local actors & projects in Myanmar, as well as creating content & overseeing the development of outsourced content that is adapted to the Myanmar audience.

Project reporting:

  • This role reports to the Project Manager

Key competencies:

  • Masters Degree in the field of Communications, Media, Public Relations, International Relations, Development, or another related field.
  • Minimum 6 years relevant general professional working experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working on digital / social media & online communications campaigns.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working for international organisations (international non governmental organisations, private sector, embassies, UN, etc.) as an employee, implementing partner or service provider.
  • Work experience with European organisations (private sector, international non governmental organisations, embassies, etc). is desired.
  • Work experience interacting with Myanmar media outlets is desired.
  • Work experience in South East Asia is desired.
  • Work experience in Myanmar is desired.
  • Must be fluent in English & Burmese.

Team management:

  • This role has no team management responsibility.
